I need a cam bearing cap for inside the cylinder head for my honda 83 cb1000c. All the websites don't have that specific part listed in any of manuals for the bike but the all have it pictured in the charts. Can anybody help me as far as where to look or find one of these? It would save my bike's life for sure.
Thanks

These were probably line-bored for each individual engine and even if you did
find one, it wouldn't line up.

Amen to that.

It /is/ possible to rework such a head but it would be far cheaper
and easier to simply buy a 2nd hand complete cylinder head with
camshafts.

Overtightened the cam cover screw, did you?
