My thaks for the two gas tank schematics. They were right on.

Turns out the wires run down through a tube in the gas tank that keeps the wires from getting soked in gas.

I pulled the wires out the bottom.

I'm now trying to pull the two pins (12 V and grd) out of the AMP MULTITECH 2-pin connector using the directions in the Lowrider HD manual.

I can't seem to free either pin using the manual's directions.

Anyone done this? Is there a write-up or some guide as to how to free the two pins? I need to replace the old chewed-up wires with new ones.

THanks,

Manjo

Basically you stick a small tool into the connector alongside the terminal to
depress the tang to unlock it and hold it there while pulling out the wire.
